Sonny Mumbunan
Chairman

Sonny is the Chair of the Center for Climate and Sustainable Finance at the University of Indonesia and a Lead Economist at World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia. He led the expert assessment of green bond framework of Indonesia’s largest Rupiah denominated green bonds. Sonny was a former fellow at the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (UFZ) Germany and current fellow at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS) undertaking interdisciplinary research on marine governance in times of climate change. He was senior economist and expert staff for green economy and development data governance at the President’s Office under both Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Joko Widodo administrations.

Dhita Mutiara Nabella
Research Fellow

Dhita is a research fellow at CCSF University of Indonesia with interest in sustainable development. She was involved in projects for the trade, development and environment (Trade HUB) supported by UK Research and Innovation (GCRF UKRI), for systematic review of evidence for biodiversity and agriculture production in tropical forest landscape supported by Royal Norwegian Government, and for the basic income for nature and climate funded by German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUB). Trained as a biologist, she was the best bachelor graduate of University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. She has a Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University College London, UK.

Mercyta Jorsvinna Glorya
Research Associate

Mercyta is a research associate at the CCSF Universitas Indonesia. Her research focuses on the nexus of governance, political economy, and climate transitions in Indonesia. She was a member of the expert team that drafted the academic background paper for a special autonomy regulation (Perdasus) on endowment funds for sustainability in West Papua Province, Indonesia. Mercyta received professional training in climate finance from Griffith University, Australia, where she attained a full-ride short-course scholarship from the Australia Awards. She has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Politics from the University of Edinburgh.

Sita Primadevi
Sustainability Researcher

Sita is a sustainability researcher with research interest in climate and sustainability finance and governance. She previously worked at the Climate Change Center of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) as part of the Strengthening National Climate Policy Implementation and Climate Finance, an International Consortium funded by Germany’s International Climate Initiative (IKI). She was a consultant to the World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia on integrating development planning and financing for sustainability with jurisdictional approach. Currently, Sita is a Fulbright Fellow pursuing a master’s degree in Public Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington, where she specializes in climate and energy justice financing.

Rafie Mohammad
Project Manager

Rafie is a Project Manager at CCSF Universitas Indonesia. He is coordinating the high-impact project portfolio on Global Comparative Study (GCS) of REDD+, funded by the Royal Norwegian Government, on work packages for finance and science-policy interface. He is also managing a research on farmers for forest fund, addressing palm oil smallholders. Prior to joining the CCSF, Rafie was a Research Assistant at Sebijak Institute. Rafie holds a BSc in Forestry from Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Dyah Ayu Febriani
Project Manager

Dyah is a Project Manager at the CCSF Universitas Indonesia. She manages the Trade, Development and Environment (Trade HUB), a flagship project of the Global Challenge Research Fund funded by UK Research and Innovation (GCRF UKRI), on work packages for finance and social-economic impact. She currently also serves as an expert staff to the Ministerial Working Unit at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Indonesia. Dyah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Universitas Indonesia.
