The Center for Climate and Sustainable Finance (CCSF) Universitas Indonesia, established in 2022 under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), extends the decade-long climate and biodiversity expertise of its sister organizations within the Institute for Sustainable Earth and Resources (ISER UI). CCSF UI focuses on developing finance policies to address the climate and sustainability crisis in Indonesia.
CCSF UI is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the delivery of research and program activities on climate risk integration and sustainable finance at the subnational level. The work will focus on strengthening the role of Subnational Development Banks (SDBs) in managing climate-related risks and supporting green financing, including policy analysis for climate risk stress test and management, stakeholder engagement, and the development of regulatory-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities, including managing technical and administrative matters.
- Plan and manage resource allocation and project deliverables.
- Manage and project schedules and budgets in coordination with the CCSF UI team.
- Strengthen communication and coordination between project teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in meetings and conferences with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (S2) in a relevant field such as Development Economics, Climate Policy, Sustainability Sciences, Public Administration, Agriculture/Forestry, Banking/Audit, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary sustainability issues, particularly climate risk and sustainable finance.
- Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and a result-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); public speaking skills are an advantage.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Able to travel when required.
- Prior experience managing donor-funded projects and working with diverse stakeholders is preferred.
- Candidates based in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) are preferred.
